Cannons to be Honored by Red Sox

(BOSTON, Mass. August 31, 2011) - The Boston Red Sox will honor the Boston Cannons and their postseason achievement in an on-field pregame ceremony prior to this Saturday’s game. The team, Head Coach Bill Daye, the coaching staff and the front office will be honored. The game will be nationally televised on FOX and streaming online at The game is scheduled to start at approximately 4:10pm EST.

The Boston Cannons took home the Steinfeld Trophy on Sunday August 28 for the first time in league history during the 2011 Sports Authority MLL Championship Weekend presented by Warrior. As they reached the Boston city limits, the Cannons became the next team to bring home a championship to Titletown, USA.
