Boston Cannons Midfielder and 2011 MLL Player of the Year Paul Rabil will be hosting a charity event tonight through the Paul Rabil Foundation (PRF) in Baltimore, Md.

The PRF will be hosting its first annual Holiday Magic Gala in an effort to raise money for an annual scholarship given to a child attending the Lab School in Washington DC or Baltimore. PRF’s mission is to build opportunities for the youth, specifically those with learning differences, through the avenue of sports.

“Paul, like so many other MLL players, tirelessly devotes his time off-the-field to help others through charitable endeavors and tonight’s event is just one example of this,” said MLL Commissioner David Gross who will be attending the Gala in Baltimore. “We are thrilled to support him in his philanthropic efforts through the Paul Rabil Foundation.”

The event will include a top shelf bar, wine and martini tasting, live music from Frank Curreri, dancing, a silent auction and casino lounge. Every dollar contributed at the Gala will go straight to a child’s scholarship fund to attend The Lab School.

Rabil plans to contribute to The Lab School in many ways including tonight’s Holiday Magic Gala. He also intends to fully-fund a lacrosse program at the school.
